Sidney Bazett was a realtor, accountant, and political figure. He arrived in Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1946 and represented Josephine County as a Republican state legislator from 1961 to 1973. He focused primarily on the preservation of the state's beaches, serving on the Rules Committee and the Legislative Interim Committee.
